Elopement Wedding Photography Blue Venado Riviera Maya, Mexico

Richard + Jacqueline

Richard and Jacqueline wanted to do their wedding day in their own way. To start things off, they decided to elope in Mexico. Next, they didn’t want to elope with people taking their vacations hanging around. So, even though they were staying at the Hilton in Playa del Carmen, they chose a completely different setting for their elopement in the Riviera Maya.

They planned their ceremony at Blue Venado, which is a beautiful location by the ocean with jungle and natural colors that exemplify the Riviera Maya. It is a private venue and the couple had it all to themselves. They stood under a wooden arch decorated by beautiful tropical flowers in the sand right in front of the Caribbean.

The officiant performed a sweet ceremony, and the Riviera Maya photographers captured all their emotions as the day unfolded. They incorporated a sand ceremony to represent the unity of their two lives coming together as one.

After the ceremony, the couple toured the venue with the elopement photographer as he documented their interactions and essence in a natural and fun way. And if you think that was special…It wasn’t enough for Richard and Jacqueline. They decided to travel to Cenote Cristallino, a majestical natural cenote that is located on the road headed south to Tulum. Of course their wedding photographer was excited to head to the location and make more memories for the couple to remember. Once there, their happiness was surreal when they entered, as the energy from the cenote took their breath away.

They explored every inch of the jungle, played on the swing, and even got into the water together. This couple said yes to love and yes to all the adventure that comes with it. We hope they love their destination wedding pictures, and we wish them so much love and happiness in their future!
