Myra + Riken
The first time they ever spoke to each other was on their high school graduation and after that day,
they knew they were meant to be. In the beginning, it wasn’t easy as they had a long distance relationship
during their college years but life brought them back together and here we are now celebrating their true love!!
With the help and advice from the amazing Nirali Shah, these two found the perfect place for their dream
destination wedding: the Hard Riviera Maya Hotel. We had a couple of incredibly fun days together and the
fusion Hindu-Civil wedding was just the cherry on top.
Their Hindu Wedding Ceremony took place in an ultra-romantic oceanfront gazebo on one of the hotel’s spacious
terraces. And what I loved most was their smiles during the entire ceremony. After some portraits around the
property, we all took a break to change and prep for the Civil Wedding Ceremony.
Myra shares with us: “As I was watching everyone walk to the gazebo I turned around and noticed Riken
standing there talking to his friends as I was hiding behind a golf cart so no one would see me. As soon
as I saw him everything else just faded away. I was frustrated anymore, I was more emotional and it finally
dawned on me I was about to marry my best friend.”
The party continued in one of the hotel’s BallRooms. Dancing, laughs, and smiles are what my lenses captured
all night! Mega congrats Mr. & Mrs. Patel. And thanks so much for trusting me to capture your gorgeous celebration!!!”
If you find yourself planning your Indian Destination Wedding, here’s some advice from Myra: “Make sure to save
lots of pictures of what you envision and show them to those who are in charge of making your vision become a
reality. Make sure to prioritize time with your close family and be sure someone is always snapping candid shots
of everything going on with your own personal phone. Take time to reflect on your thoughts and feelings and just
relax and enjoy yourself!”
A Special thanks to the amazing Nirali Shah Events for trusting in our art.
